Todd Burkhalter grew up in Aliceville, AL where he attended First Baptist Church of Aliceville. Having been raised in a Christian home, he came to trust Christ as his Savior during Vacation Bible School in 1983. In 1989, during a youth conference at the Ridgecrest Baptist Assembly in North Carolina, he felt the call of God into full time ministry.  During his freshman year at the University of Alabama, he was called to his first church as a Minister of Music and Youth. Two years later, while still a college student, he was called to his first pastorate.   He received his Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Alabama in 1994 and later his Master of Divinity from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2001. He has served as the pastor of Coaling Baptist Church since August 2000. Todd is married to Keria and have two beautiful daughters, Katelyn and Audrey.

Dr. Travis Seagle has served at Coaling Baptist Church for 15+ years. As Travis has served our students and adults, many lives have been changed. Travis serves with an endless love for Christ and the community of Coaling. We are so blessed to have him and look forward to his continual ministry in the community and building of Coaling Baptist Church.

Abby Lee joined the staff of Coaling Baptist Church in January of 2023. Abby is a teacher at North River Christian Academy. She and her husband Matt have three girls, Emmy, Piper, and Collins.
Abby is passionate about children's ministry and the opportunity it provides to see whole families impacted. Through the Compass Kids Ministry at Coaling Baptist Church, children will have the opportunity to walk through scripture in an age appropriate way in order to be presented the gospel and the life changing power of Jesus Christ.  

Mr. Caleb Smith serves Coaling Baptist Church through music ministry in The Crossing service. Caleb has served many people in the congregation by leading them to the Throne Room of Christ week after week. Caleb also runs our live-stream technology and visual effects for our weekly services.
