The Point is our College/Young Adult ministry at Coaling Baptist Church. We meet weekly on Thursday nights at 7:00 pm. Our ministry focus on what is important, the Word of God and the souls of people.
The Point enjoys adventures and ministering to various people all across the country. We have traveled to Colorado, California, South Dakota, Illinois, and other states outside the Southeast. Our annual trips include whitewater rafting, summer mission trip in the States, Pursue, and a fellowship trip in January.

Weekly Meetups

Thursday at 7:00 pm

On the first Thursday of the month, The Point meets at the home of Phil and Amy Suttle. The rest of the month, they meet at the church. Every week they have a time of Bible Study and a fellowship meal provided.

Sunday at 8:30 am or 11:00 am

Weekly worship is an important part of young adulthood. Whether the preference is Traditional hymns or Contemporary worship, we have a place for you!

Small Groups

Whether you are in college, entering the work force or have been in the workforce for  few years, we have a class for you. The College and Career class, led by Michael and Amber Davis is designed for young adults that are taking the next step in life be it college or stepping into a career. The Young Adult Class, led by Zach and Katy Davis is geared towards those who have finished college and have joined the more established work force. We focus on the Word of God and the Souls of People
